Sit awhile a DP Artworks rubber stamp

Here is yet another rubber stamp card I made. I used water color pencils. I just found out about them and I have fallin' in love. Oh, the stamp is called Sit awhile. I love this stamp. I got several book related stamps at the DP Artworks booth this past summer. I think this is what I wrote on my last post. Anyway, I sent a bunch of cards to Deena (owner of DP Artworks). I think she will be posting them at www.dpartworks.blogspot.com

Coin holders

These are coin holders I borrows from my husbands study. He is a coin collector you see. Both of the stamps I used are DP Artworks stamps. I am not sure what I will be doing with these. I may put them on or in an altered book. I was just playing around.

A sample with a DP Artworks stamp

Here's a sample I made using a DP Artworks rubber stamp. This is my favorite rubber stamp company. I bought this and many others at Stampaway this past summer.
My girls (3 of them) are all in school now. I have time to play in my studio and I am loving it. With rain and weather in the 60's it is the perfect day for coffee and art. The weatherman said it will be rainy tomorrow also.
The girls are very excited about Halloween this year. Costumes are bought. We will be trick or treating at the Galleria again this year. Katie, our nanny, will have such a good time with the girl. Thank heavens for the nanny. I do not know what I would do without her.

Busy in my sudio

This is a stamping project I worked on today. The stamp is Our Lady of Guadalupe made by DP Artworks. I stamped the image on white card stock with black ink. I used watercolor pencils to add the color. Layering it with a brown and clay colored card stock made this card complete.

Stamping sample, stamps by DP Artworks

So I finally got into my workroom. I did some stamping. At Stampaway in Cincinnati, Ohio I took a class by Deena of DP Artworks. I, of course, visited their booth. Over buying resulted from that booth visit. However, they had an awesome booth and wonderful stamps. I used two of their stamps here. I sent them on to them. One down many to go! I will post more later, when I make them.
